b. [S-30-02] Preliminary Subdivision Plan for Tuscan Ridge (lot-by-lot):
The proposed subdivision is located on the north side of Turnipseed Road between Smithfield Road and the Johnston County line in the southeast part of Wake County. PIN 1772.02-86-3173.
c. [S-34-02] Preliminary Subdivision Plan for Stonegate Estates (lot-by-lot):
The proposed subdivision is located on the east side of Forestville Road between Lillie Liles Road and Burlington Mills Road in the northeast part of Wake County. PIN 1748.02-77-0936; 1748.02-67-9400; and 1748.02-66-9521.
d. [S-35-02] Preliminary Subdivision Plan for park at Westlake (Cluster):
The proposed subdivision is located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Optimist Farm Road and Westlake Road in the southern part of Wake County. PIN 0679.01-35-0035.

b. Appeal of Planning Board Decision, [S-23-02] Preliminary Cluster Subdivision Plan for Kirk Leone:
A letter of appeal of a decision made by the Planning Board at its July 3, 2002 meeting has been submitted. Staff recommends that the Planning Board review the appeal letter and direct staff to prepare a report for the Board of Commissioner's review.

5. Variance Requests:
a. [S-20-02] Pearl Adams Property:
Request a variance from Section 3-4-8(D)(9)(a) cul-de-sac length to extend a private road over the allowed 900 feet and request a variance from Section 3-4-8(D)(2) to not extend a public stub onto the property. The parcel is located at the end of Olive Hill Dirve north of Optimist Farm Road and consists of .69 acres zoned R-30. PIN 0669.01-27-3255.
